نفت الهند “بشدة” الأنباء التي تحدثت عن إرسالها قوات إلى سريلانكا التي تعاني من أزمة اقتصادية حادة تسببت بقيام احتجاجات واسعة في البلاد.
ووصفت المفوضية الهندية العليا في سريلانكا، في بيان لها على “تويتر”، السبت، التقارير الواردة بهذا الشأن في قسم من وسائل الإعلام بأنها “كاذبة بشكل صارخ، ولا أساس لها على الإطلاق”.
وتابعت المفوضية الهندية: “إننا ندين مثل هذه التقارير غير المسؤولة ونتوقع من الأطراف المعنية أن تكف عن نشر الشائعات”.
