أجبر الجفاف المتواصل في الصومال 805 آلاف شخص على النزوح من منازلهم حتى نهاية أيار الماضي.
وأفاد مكتب تنسيق الإغاثة الإنسانية التابع للأمم المتحدة في الصومال، بأنه تم تسجيل أكثر من 33 ألف لاجئ، بسبب الجفاف الشهر الماضي، بزيادة 28 في المئة عن نيسان.
وكان الصوماليون قد بدأوا بالفرار من المنطقة في كانون الثاني 2021.
وتواجه الصومال وغيرها من الدول في المنطقة أسوأ موجة جفاف خلال عقود.
