كشف رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو أنّه يمكن لإسرائيل التوصل الى سلام تاريخي مع السعودية، معتبرًا أنّ ذلك قد يؤدي الى قطع “شوط طويل” نحو تحقيق السلام بين الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين.
وشدد نتنياهو، خلال لقائه رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأميركية جو بايدن في نيويورك على هامش اجتماعات الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، على أنّ “التزام إسرائيل بالديمقراطية أمر مؤكد”.
من جانبه، أكد بايدن للصحافيين أنّ التزام واشنطن تجاه تل أبيب صلب لا يلين، لافتًا الى أنه سيناقش حل الدولتين مع نتنياهو.
