أعلن “حزب الله” في بيان أن عناصره استهدفت عند الساعة 1:38 من بعد ظهر يوم الخميس 16-5-2024 موقع المطلة وحاميته وآلياته بمسيّرة هجوميّة مسلّحة بصواريخ “S5” عدد 2، وعند وصولها النقطة المحددة لها أطلقت صواريخها على إحدى آلياته والعناصر المجتمعة حولها وأوقعتهم بين قتيل وجريح، وبعدها أكملت انقضاضها على الهدف المحدد لها وأصابته بدقّة.
