رأى مسؤولون أميركيون أن “القادة الإيرانيين قرروا تأجيل الرد على اغتيال اسماعيل هنية لكن الخشية من أن تحضّ طهران حزب الله على الهجوم”، بحسب صحيفة “وشنطن بوست”.
وأضافت أنه “ربما تراجع الامين العام لحزب الله السيد حسن نصرالله عن إطلاق وابل من الصواريخ على تل أبيب لكن لديه عددا من الأهداف الإسرائيلية للاختيار من بينها.”
