لكنّ المدرّب هانز فليك رفض العرض، وفضّل البحث عن خيارات أخرى في هذا المركز.
ويعتبر حاليًّا فيدريكو كييزا، نجم يوفنتوس، الخيار الأقرب إلى برشلونة، بعد فشل الاتّفاق مع نجم أتلتيك بيلباو، نيكو ويليامز.
وليست المرة الأولى الّتي يقترح فيها نيمار العودة إلى برشلونة، بعد أن غادره في صيف 2017، نحو باريس سان جيرمان.
