أعلن مستشار الأمن القومي الأميركي جيك سوليفان، بعد ان تم إطلاق صواريخ من إيران باتجاه إسرائيل، أن الرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن ناقش مع فريقه الأمني الهجوم الإيراني.
وأشار إلى أن “إيران أطلقت نحو 200 صاروخ باتجاه إسرائيل”، مؤكدًا أن “واشنطن تعمل مع الجيش الإسرائيلي لتقييم الأضرار”.
وقال سوليفان إن “الهجوم الإيراني على إسرائيل يبدو أنه غير فعال”، مشدّدًا على أنه “ستكون هناك عواقب شديدة للهجوم الإيراني”.
وأكد البيت الأبيض، أن بايدن، أمر الجيش الأميركي بمساعدة إسرائيل في دفاعها ضد الهجمات الإيرانية.
